Year 2024: During the 2024 breeding season, she was captured on a nest in a field near Káranice. She successfully hatched chicks here, which she led 1 km to a field near Obědovice.
On June 29, she began her migration to Western Europe, traveling through Germany (Dortmund) and Belgium to France (Orléans, Le Mans). She stayed nearly four months (from July 13 to November 10) halfway between Tours and Le Mans. She then continued south, and in a very short time, she flew all the way to Spain, south of Seville, where she remained until the end of the year.
Year 2025: In January 2025, Nerea remained at the Torre del Águila reservoir in southern Spain, south of Seville. At the end of February, she left sunny Spain and started her journey back. She spent two more weeks in France, but on 19 March she felt it was time to return to the Czech Republic.
Initially, she stayed near Žíželice, but no nesting occurred there. From 30.3., she began moving around the Kratonohy area, particularly near Kosičky. She started her first nesting attempt in early April in a local wetland. The incubation was successful, and chicks hatched, but none reached flight. The second attempt ended in predation during the incubation period.
She began her summer migration relatively early (on 13.6.), more than two weeks earlier than the previous year. She first moved to the Netherlands, where she stayed for about 14 days. On 30.6., she continued through Belgium towards the south, and from 1.7., she is staying in the familiar surroundings around Tours.
