Year 2025: Šmoulinka was caught on 9.4.2025 in a field between Roudnice and Syrovátka. This nesting attempt was successful, the chicks hatched but unfortunately did not reach fledging age.
From 5.5., she began moving southward, and from 8.5. she stayed in the area around Lomnice nad Lužnicí in South Bohemia. Shortly afterward, her transmitter fell silent, and her fate remained unknown. The device reconnected in early July, but ODBA data suggested that Šmoulinka had died, which was confirmed in July by finding her transmitter in the Třeboň region near Ponědrazský Pond.
